With three mentors and three mentees, this is more of a journey towards personal mastery, aimed at helping our people discover their true potential, and provide a platform for people at both a mentor and mentee level to develop and grow. Listening to the individual journeys around self-discovery, mental health, personal mastery, motivation, creativity, and innovation was truly inspirational. Six of our people gave excellent presentations to finalise their Leadership Development Programme journey, which encompasses seven e-learning and in-person modules, coupled with invited guest speakers and discussion pods held with industry experts. Wings 3D gets its name from the Winged Edge Data Structure (WEDS). Wings 3D offers a wide range of modeling tools, a customizable interface, support for lights and materials, and a built-in AutoUV mapping facility.

Richard Jones (optigon) maintained Wings and coded many new features between 20. Originally inspired by Nendo and Mirai from Izware, Wings 3D has been developed since 2001, when Björn Gustavsson (bjorng) and Dan Gudmundsson (dgud) first started the project. Wings 3D is an advanced subdivision modeler that is both powerful and easy to use. * That library has since been superseded by wx (also written by Dan and included in Erlang/OTP) Wings 3D Dan is now the maintainer, while Björn essentially does just the macOS builds.

It was made by possible by a library that Dan had written* that provided OpenGL access from Erlang, and then later Dan joined the Wings project and has implemented many features, among them AutoUV.
